[VPAAEtal] Gradebook Setup- Best Practices

A few best practices to keep in mind for Gradebook Setup:

  1.  Drop ungraded items.  This will better reflect student averages in the course.
  2.  Ensure that students can see their current course grades, including current overall calculation.  Releasing Current Grade Averages<https://inside.tamuc.edu/facultystaffservices/academictechnology/_documents/d2l/ReleasingCurrentGrades.pdf>
  3.  Use the Final Calculated Grade to show the students Grades.  The Adjusted will not transfer to Banner at Midterm or the Final Grade submision.
  4.  There are two videos linked below and in the module Grade Setup and User Progress.  These videos will help you setup the gradebook using the Setup Wizard and demonstrate the different Gradebook Settings.  The second video will walk you through how to Build your Gradebook from start to finish.
