[VPAAEtal] Dr. Vicki Mason, Executive Director, Institute for Competency-Based Education (ICBE)

Please join me in welcoming Dr. Vicki Mason as the new Executive Director of the Institute for Competency-Based Education (ICBE).  Dr. Mason earned a DHSc from A.T. Still University in Health Sciences and an M.S. in Health Services Administration from the College of St. Francis.  Dr. Mason has prior experience in competency-based education (CBE), serving as the program director for the Healthcare Administration program geared toward adult learners at the University of Providence in Great Falls, MT.  She has held clinical instructor positions at Texas Woman's University in the School of Occupational Therapy.  And, she brings sales and marketing experience from leadership roles at Nexus Health Systems and Milestone Healthcare.  The ICBE serves to support the growth of CBE at Texas A&M University-Commerce, but also serves as an advocate for CBE across the State of Texas.  Dr. Mason will use her academic and corporate experience to showcase the outcomes of CBE to internal and external stakeholders.
