Zoom Cloud Recording storage
Application/Tool Impacted: Zoom Cloud Storage

What is happening?

* The University's Zoom Cloud storage is reaching its limit and is scheduled to do an annual data clean-up. As stated when the Zoom site-license was negotiated, its intent was not to be a long-term storage solution. Any cloud recording that was recorded before 6/1/2021 is subject to deletion on the cloud server.

What do you need to do?

* If you would like to keep your cloud recordings, please make arrangements to download to your local machine, share folder, external drive, etc.

* Faculty may also explore uploading the content to Panopto. For further details on this option, contact the Office of Academic Technology.

When is it happening?

* Recordings created before 6/1/2021 will be deleted by Oct. 15th.
