Position Therapist

 

Qualifications: Must have a Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling,
or Psychology. Licensed by the State at a Master's level of Social Work,
a Licensed Professional Counselor.

 

Experience: Must have one year's experience working with Adult
Psychiatric or Geropsychiatric patients. Experience with elderly clients
in medical social work/case management setting considered.

 

Location: Ochiltree General Hospital in Perryton, Texas

 

Responsibilities: The therapist is responsible for providing high
quality patient care, displaying skills in assessment, treatment
planning, group treatment, individual treatment, family treatment, and
discharge planning. Additionally, he/she is responsible to function well
as a member of the multidisciplinary team. The Therapist has
professional qualities which make him/her qualified to assume the
responsibility for insuring that all patients in the outpatient
gero-psych program receive optimal, safe care through coordination of
staffing and clinical activities. This care is administered in
compliance with state and federal regulations while at the same time
meeting the objectives of Hospital Administration.
