This is a REMINDER email to sign up for V.I.S.I.O.N.S. 2012. Please find

Hi Student Organization Leaders!!!

On behalf of the V.I.S.I.O.N.S. Committee, we hope that you all are
getting ready and are excited for the upcoming fall semester. We are
extremely excited to have each of you back on our campus! Your
organization is cordially invited to participate in V.I.S.I.O.N.S. 2012
(Various Illustrations Sharing and Introducing Organizations to New
Students). The event will take place in the Rayburn Student Center on
Tuesday, September 4, 2012 between 5:30pm - 9:00pm, as a part of the
Lions Roar events. 

The program will start with an organization fair from 5:30pm -7:00pm on
the 2nd floor of the Rayburn Student Center. Following the fair, there
will be a showcase component in the conference rooms, where student
organizations can choose to perform (dance, skit, short video or a
combination of all these) for 5 minutes or speak about their
organization for 2 minutes. Be as creative as you can -- but make sure
you stay within the time limits. Please remember, due to time
constraints, the number of performances will be limited and will be
available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

All organizations that choose to perform in the showcase component of
this event MUST attend a rehearsal on Thursday, August 30th from
12:00pm-6:00pm. The time slots are limited and will hence be available
on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please click on the "doodle" link
provided at the bottom of the email to select a time for your
organization's performance rehearsal. If you choose to speak rather than
perform, you are invited to attend a special session with Toastmasters
International, where you will receive advice, tips, and feedback on how
to improve your speech delivery. The rehearsal for speakers will be on
Wednesday, August 29th in Alumni Center from 5:30pm 6:30pm. You will not
need to schedule a time for the speaking rehearsal.

We encourage all organizations to participate in this event, as it is a
great chance to highlight all of the wonderful things you do during the
school year! This is also an opportunity to share with faculty, staff,
and students what your organizations have to offer our campus community!

To sign up to participate in V.I.S.I.O.N.S. 2012, click the "Register
here" button and complete the form no later than Tuesday August 28th,
2012 before 5:00pm. Also, do not forget to click the Doodle link to
reserve a time for performance rehearsals.
