[Students] Gene Stallings online at ketr.org

[Bill Oliver]

Earlier this week, the A&M-Commerce Athletic Department hosted a reception
in Paris that included the Lions Coaches Show. A special guest was Gene
Stallings, a member of the A&M System Board of Regents who will be on our
campus to deliver the University Convocation on March 4. Quoting President
McFarland, "Mr. Stallings played football for Texas A&M University under
head coach Paul "Bear" Bryant, went on to serve as head football coach for
A&M, and coached professional football for 18 years, including serving as
assistant coach under Tom Landry and the Dallas Cowboys for 14 years. The
author of a book, Another Season, which describes the love he has for his
son who was born with Down Syndrome, Mr. Stallings is a noted speaker and is
the recipient of many coaching and humanitarian awards."

In case you missed the broadcast on KETR FM-88.9 and ketr.org, Mr. Stallings
conversation with Jesse Logan, Marketing and Promotions Coordinator for the
A&M-Commerce Athletic Department, is on the news page at ketr.org.
