[phas-dept] Physics B.A./B.S. w/6-12 Physical Science Certification

[Matt Wood]

Hello, Physics Majors!

I wanted also let you know that we also have a 120-hour degree program designed for those of you who’d like to be High-School (or Jr. HS) teachers.
"Physics B.A./B.S. w/6-12 Physical Science Certification”
Catalog page here: http://bit.ly/1neBOsx

This degree program will provide you with a degree in physics as well as your teaching certificate. Our experience is that anyone coming out with a degree in physics certified to teach is essentially guaranteed a job, and I’ve heard some people get signing bonuses, since there’s more demand than there is supply.

Dr. William Newton is our Undergraduate Advisor for this program, so if you’re interested, please make an appointment to talk with him about it.

Best regards,
Matt
