[NewIntlStudents] Full schedule of events from January 7-12

[New International Students]

Hello

 

The International Student Services Office staff are looking forward to
meeting you in a few days and we hope that everything is going well as
you prepare for your studies at Texas A&M University-Commerce.  We have
updated our website with a schedule of all events for next week, January
7-12 and I have also attached the schedule as well.  The schedule
includes document check-in, orientation, shuttles to Commerce and the
Dallas area, and on-campus events.    

 

As a reminder, all new international students must check-in (document
check-in) with an international student advisor in the ISSO at Halladay
Student Services Building room 104.  The schedule for check-in is listed
below:

*         Monday, January 7 from 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm

*         Tuesday, January 8 from 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm

*         Wednesday, January 9 from 9am-12pm

*         Friday, January 10 from 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm

 

Students are strongly encouraged to check-in PRIOR to Wednesday, January
9 to avoid a rush of students on that day.  We will end check-in at 12pm
noon on Wednesday, January 9 regardless if any students are waiting.
Please note the following:

*         The list of required documents and information for check-in is
listed at

*         Copies may be made at the James Gee Library or the Rayburn
Student Center Pride Shop.  For a map of campus go to

New international student orientation is on Thursday, January 10 and
will begin at 8:30am.  Students will need to be at the Rayburn Student
Center 213ABC by 8:15am to sign in and receive their orientation packet.
Attendance to ALL SESSIONS of orientation is mandatory.  For more
