[Intl-stu] OPT Worksops

[International Students]

The ISSO will host workshops for Optional Practical Training on the
following days and times:

Friday, July 15 at 10am

Tuesday, July 19 at 2pm

Friday, July 22 at 10am

 

All workshops will be located in BA256.  All students are required to
attend one (1) OPT workshop during their academic program before being
eligible to apply for OPT. Please remember the following:

*        If you are taking summer session 1 classes ONLY then you will
need to apply before the end date of summer session 1, July 7.  Your
program end date will be July 7 if you are taking classes during summer
session 1 ONLY.  

*        If you are taking summer session 1 AND 2 classes then you will
need to apply for OPT any time during the summer semester before the end
date of August 11.  Your program end date for your I-20 will be August
11 if you are taking summer session 1 AND 2 classes.

*        If you are taking summer session 2 classes ONLY  then you will
need to apply for OPT any time during the summer semester before the end
date of August 11.  Your program end date for your I-20 will be August
11 if you are taking summer session 2 classes ONLY.
