[CBW_Exec] FW: CBW Exec Board meeting Agenda +

[Susan Bernstein]

Here's my good news.

Professional
--Co-edited: BWe 7.1 with Shannon; in process with BWe 7.2.
--Published "Material Realities in the Basic Writing Classroom" in JBW 27.1
--Forthcoming: 2 book reviews on new BW books (including Shannon's!) in WPA
Journal and Issues in Writing
--New: CBW Facebook group page (as of Saturday morning 3/7) has 137
members. Please join if you haven't already; do a Facebook search for
"Conference on Basic Writing."
--Fledgling: Slow and steady progress on book MS on teaching BW in urban
open-admissions settings

Personal:
--We adopted a cat in November! Kitty is calico, 10 years old, and
extremely mellow -- an excellent role model for her 2 human companions.
--Steve and I are 18 months into life in Queens, NY and settling into the
promises of its many challenges and adventures.

See you all soon!

Susan
