A bit more good news (personal/professional rather than programmatic):

Professional--
1. Forthcoming: three articles, two accepted since we last met-- ³The
Activist Writing Center² (Kairos, Fall 2010), ³The Converging Literacies
Center: An Integrated Model for Writing Programs² (with Donna Dunbar-Odom,
also
> Kairos, 2010?), ³The Writing Center Paradox: Talk About Legitimacy and the
> Problem of Institutional Change² (CCC, June 2009).

2. Guest Editor (with Bump Halbritter) of a special issue of Kairos
(published Summer 2011) dedicated to publishing digital scholarship produced
by undergraduates. The call will come out during CCCC.

3. The National Conversation on Writing is going strong. See www.ncow.org
for more. We¹ll be contributing to this some during our CBW Workshop, so
much more on NCoW very soon!

Personal--

My two silly labs have gained no levels of sophistication in the past year.
But they may become part of a merged family later this year. Stephen and I
are getting married! No ring to share but we are shopping for that.
And a house. And trying to figure out how to sell our current homes in the
current housing market. It seems likely we¹ll be landlords soon. Hope to
move in together by the summer¹s end. Wedding in October, 2010.

Scary! And exciting!
