[VPAAEtal] Foundation for Your Future QEP Grant – Spring/Summer 2026 Funding Now Open

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to share that the Foundation for Your Future Grant Initiative is now accepting Letters of Intent for the Spring–Summer 2026 Student Career Readiness Challenge. This funding opportunity is open by invitation to full-time ETAMU faculty and staff whose work supports undergraduate student career readiness.

For this grant cycle, awards of up to $1,500 are available to support undergraduate student travel and student research occurring in Spring 2026 and Summer 2026. All awarded funds must be expended or encumbered by August 1, 2026; any remaining or unencumbered funds will be returned to the QEP budget.

The purpose of this initiative is to enhance faculty- or staff-mentored career readiness experiences for undergraduate students. Funding may be used for student travel or research. Travel expenses for faculty or staff may also be included when accompanying students to professional conferences, networking events, or other career-relevant activities. (Please note: funding cannot be used for release time.)

The attached Request for Proposals outlines application requirements, including the project narrative, rationale, NACE competency alignment, assessment plan, budget worksheet, timeline, and letter of support. Proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted, and interdisciplinary or team-based submissions are especially encouraged.

Letters of Intent will be reviewed by the QEP Leadership Team on a rolling basis until all funds are allocated. Applicants will receive a decision within 7 business days of submission. Recipients will be asked to provide a brief final report including assessment results.
