<p>Dear Colleagues,<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>I am pleased to share that the <strong><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;font-weight:normal">Foundation for Your Future Grant Initiative</span></strong> is now accepting Letters of Intent for the
<strong><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;font-weight:normal">Spring–Summer 2026 Student Career Readiness Challenge</span></strong>. This funding opportunity is open
<strong><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;font-weight:normal">by invitation</span></strong> to full-time ETAMU faculty and staff whose work supports undergraduate student career readiness.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>For this grant cycle, awards of <strong><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;font-weight:normal">up to $1,500</span></strong> are available to support
<strong><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;font-weight:normal">undergraduate student travel and student research</span></strong> occurring in
<strong><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;font-weight:normal">Spring 2026 and Summer 2026</span></strong>. All awarded funds must be
<strong><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;font-weight:normal">expended or encumbered by August 1, 2026</span></strong>; any remaining or unencumbered funds will be returned to the QEP budget.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>The purpose of this initiative is to enhance faculty- or staff-mentored career readiness experiences for undergraduate students. Funding may be used for student travel or research. Travel expenses for faculty or staff may also be included
<strong><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;font-weight:normal">when accompanying students</span></strong> to professional conferences, networking events, or other career-relevant activities. (Please note: funding cannot be used for release time.)<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>The attached Request for Proposals outlines application requirements, including the project narrative, rationale, NACE competency alignment, assessment plan, budget worksheet, timeline, and letter of support. Proposals will be accepted
<strong><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;font-weight:normal">on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted</span></strong>, and interdisciplinary or team-based submissions are especially encouraged.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>Letters of Intent will be reviewed by the <strong><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;font-weight:normal">QEP Leadership Team</span></strong> on a rolling basis
<strong><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;font-weight:normal">until all funds are allocated</span></strong>. Applicants will receive a decision within
<strong><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;font-weight:normal">7 business days</span></strong> of submission. Recipients will be asked to provide a brief final report including assessment results.<o:p></o:p></p>
