Undergraduate Student Academic Dishonesty Reporting

As the fall semester is fast approaching, this serves as a reminder of the process to use for reporting suspected incidents of undergraduate academic dishonesty.

Undergraduate students at East Texas A&M University are expected to demonstrate the highest standards of integrity and honesty in all academic activities. Faculty and staff are committed to supporting and upholding these standards by fostering an environment that promotes and ensures academic integrity. However, in the event academic dishonesty is suspected, the faculty who suspects an academic violation should discuss with the appropriate academic department head regarding disciplinary proceedings.  All allegations of undergraduate academic dishonesty should be reported to the Provost's Office as outlined in the following University procedure.

Reports should NOT be emailed directly to the Provost and/or Provost Office, but rather should be submitted to the Academic Affairs data base utilizing the Undergraduate Student Academic Dishonesty Form<https://cm.maxient.com/reportingform.php?EastTAMU&layout_id=100> (Academic Integrity Report Form) which can be located in the procedure. Utilizing this method ensures a record is maintained in our data base for tracking allegations and adjudications of academic dishonesty incidents related to undergraduate students.
