[VPAAEtal] Cayuse Update

The following notice is sent on behalf of Dr. Brent Donham, Vice President for Research and Economic Development.

Dear Faculty,

Cayuse is a new electronic system that our university is using for all IRB Protocol submissions. From August 25, all IRB applications must route through Cayuse.  All application forms and templates will be removed from the IRB website (https://inside.tamuc.edu/research/compliance/IRB-Protection_of_Human_Subjects/default.aspx)

To access Cayuse please go to the Research Compliance and Integrity home page at: https://www.etamu.edu/research-compliance/

The System is requiring institutions to transition to a paperless system for submitting protocols to the IRB.  In the future, the same will be true for IBC and IACUC but IRB is the first to go through it.  The transition will occur next week beginning on August 25th.
