University Hearing Committee
Call for Nominations
September 6, 2023 - September 14, 2023


The Hearing Committee is a standing committee of faculty composed of 15 full-time members, all of whom hold tenure status.
Currently there are 8 seats and 2 alternate seats that need to be filled.
Committee members' terms are for three years.

All full-time faculty regardless of rank or tenure status are entitled to nominate individuals to the Hearing Committee. Nominations will be accepted by the Provost Office beginning today through September 14, 2023. Please submit your nomination to Ginny.Haight at tamuc.edu<mailto:Ginny.Haight at tamuc.edu> no later than September 14, 2023. Once the nomination process closes, the Provost Office will prepare ballots and issue a call to all full-time faculty to vote on individuals who receive the most nominations.
