Over the past academic year, TEES has been able to provide monthly research training webinars to our TEES partner faculty/staff that has been provided by Hanover Research.  As we prepare for fall 2023 semester, we are pleased to offer the webinars listed below, to be held the third Thursday of every month from 10-11am CT.  All webinars are free.



  *   9/21            Keys to Competitive DOE and DoD Proposals - In this session, attendees will explore Department of Energy and Department of Defense grant opportunities and how submissions, from outreach to a program officer through to full proposal development, differ from other federal funding agencies. We'll discuss how to engage these mission-driven funders and how to develop a strategic approach to diversifying your grant portfolio.



  *   10/19           Developing a Compelling Proposal Narrative  - Attendees will discuss best practices in proposal narrative development as well as key differences between grant writing and academic writing. A Hanover Grants Consultant will guide attendees through the proposal development process, recommending a timeline, structure, and focus that will help grant writers tell a logical story and place their research in the right scientific context.


  *   11/16            How to Write a Resubmission- A Hanover Research Grants Consultant will help attendees decipher reviewer feedback, discuss when to resubmit and when to start fresh, and explain how to incorporate reviewer feedback into resubmissions. Applicable for all funders and all funding agencies, this session will help grantseekers think strategically about how to best allocate time and effort.
