Dear Lion Community,

As many of you are aware, we introduced the concept of student success teams a few years ago to provide our students with a more personalized concierge advising experience. While this approach has played a positive role in the persistence of our students, we believe that we must do more in providing holistic care to students to help them manage their personal, financial, career, and academic needs as they proceed through college. Effective immediately, we will begin implementing a centralized advising model, which will be under the direction of Dr. Ricky Dobbs in the Division of Academic Affairs. This move will necessarily involve many key stakeholders across campus to provide the needed input for a successful transition. More details will be forthcoming.
