[VPAAEtal] myLeo Online- Spring 2019 Course Offerings

Dear Faculty,

The Spring 2019 course offerings have been created in myLeo Online (D2L Brightspace).  There is a course shell for all Banner sections, regardless of teaching modality.  This means there is a course offering shell in the learning management system for all fully online, blended, and face-to-face course sections.  These course offerings do not have content in them; you will need to copy your content into the course. Below are other pertinent spring course prep details:


*         Cross-listing:  If your course needs to be cross-listed with another course or courses, please email us at online at tamuc.edu<mailto:online at tamuc.edu> and we will cross-list those courses for you.

o   Include course and section numbers to be cross-listed.

o   Also indicate if you already have content in any of the specific course shells to be cross-listed.


*         Syllabus Template:  We have updated the syllabus template<http://www.tamuc.edu/facultyStaffServices/academicTechnology/_documents/d2l/D2L_SyllabusTemplate_Updated_11_6_2018.docx> so that the technical requirements section is condensed.  The template is based on Quality Matters recommendations.


*         GA/TA Enrollment:  These require approval from department heads and the GA's FERPA training to be current.  Please note the process details in our help document.<http://www.tamuc.edu/facultyStaffServices/academicTechnology/_documents/Process%20for%20requesting%20GA-TA-Access.pdf>
