[VPAAEtal] 2018 15th Annual Pathways Research Symposium

Good morning!

I thought that I would let you all know that we are now accepting applications<http://www.tamuc.edu/research/FindFunding/find-student-funding/ResearchSymposiums/pathways/2018_pathways_symposium_awards/Pathways%20Research%20Approval.docx> for the 2018 15th Annual Pathways Research Symposium<http://www.tamuc.edu/research/FindFunding/find-student-funding/ResearchSymposiums/pathways/default.aspx>.  Once again, we will be limited on the number of students and faculty that we can take with us.  If you or your students are interested, please do not wait as we will fill up quickly.

Please tell your students who might be interested in participating to apply soon.

I have attached information about the trip and the agenda as it stands right now.

Students MUST have completed Responsible Conduct of Research<http://www.tamuc.edu/research/compliance/training/Responsible-Conduct-in-Research.aspx> training and it must be current.  Their certificate of completion (pdf) should be included as part of their packet. All students must be on an active protocol (IACUC, IBC, or IRB) to apply.  If their advisor feels that no protocol is required, the advisor must submit a statement explaining why no protocol is needed for the research.
