[VPAAEtal] Basketball Games This Week

[Academic Affairs]

Colleagues:

Our nationally-ranked men's basketball team (#18) is off to a hot 11-1 overall record and 4-0 start in Lone Star Conference play, while our women's team is 6-5 and 3-1 in LSC games.

Starting Thursday night with games at 5:30 and 7:30 against rival Texas A&M-Kingsville, we have a very important three-game stretch over five days that will set the tone for the rest of LSC play.

We need a LOUD and PROUD Lion crowd for these games.

As a reminder, faculty and staff tickets are free by visiting the Lion Sales and Service office in the Field House with your Lion Card, and athletics will also be hosting a special Faculty and Staff Appreciation Pizza Party between games on Thursday night at the Field House.

Please RSVP to External Operations Coordinator Taryn Driver for the pizza party by calling 903-468-8756 or taryn.driver at tamuc.edu<mailto:taryn.driver at tamuc.edu>.

We also hope you can make the other two upcoming doubleheaders:

Saturday, January 6
Angelo State (Women - 2 p.m. / Men - 4 p.m.)

Tuesday, January 9
Tarleton State (Women - 5:30 p.m. / Men - 7:30 p.m.)

Thank you, and Go Lions!

John Humphreys
Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs
