[VPAAEtal] Project NOVA, Phase I, Migration Update

Greetings Faculty,

In our current LMS Transition (Project NOVA) Phase I, Faculty Course Leads (FCL), with the assistance of the CFEI, are moving master courses to a staging area in eCollege called the NOVA Term.  FCLs will receive communications from their Department Heads to identify master courses to prepare for migration. To start this process, Faculty Course Leads, please fill out this form<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeQk8sTiJlmVvQ7S0hwA4i4atyWg-Hj0I0SC7BWrnULEJ9YRQ/viewform?c=0&w=1>.

Need help "packing" your courses for the big migration from eCollege to D2L Brightspace? Look forward to our recurring weeklong Packing Parties each semester, which is open, relaxed, self-paced lab with music, food, goodies, and CFEI staff support. Note: There are two types of courses related to the LMS transition:
(1) migrated courses identified by the Department Heads for Faculty Course Leads, which will go through a conversion process and be formatted in the new LMS [if this applies to you, fill out this form<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeQk8sTiJlmVvQ7S0hwA4i4atyWg-Hj0I0SC7BWrnULEJ9YRQ/viewform?c=0&w=1>], and
(2) all other courses needing to be archived outside of eCollege, which will not be migrated and will need to be rebuilt in the new LMS.
