[VPAAEtal] Timetable for Administration of the Spring 2017 SRTEs

Instructors,

Administration of the spring 2017 semester Students' Ratings of Teaching Effectiveness (SRTEs), often referred to as "Course Evaluations," begins on 17 April and will continue until 5 May 2017.  The timeline allows three (3) full weeks for instructors to administer the SRTEs and return them to the Administrative Assistants.

Your Administrative Assistant(s) will need to verify the SRTE course information prior to departing CFEI.  Staff from CFEI will collate and stuff the packets with the STRE documents.

Once the Administrative Assistants have secured the paper-based SRTE packets for F2F and Blended courses, they will distribute the packets to the faculty members listed on the envelopes. For online courses, students will simply be prompted to complete their SRTEs whenever they sign-in to their computers.

Administration of the SRTEs


SRTEs administered utilizing a student designee from the class.
All completed SRTEs need to be returned to the
Administrative Assistants who will return them to CFEI



When logging into Pearson Learning Studio (eCollege) online courses, students receive prompts to complete survey


10 May


All completed paper-based SRTEs will be returned to CFEI.

Student will no longer receive prompts from eCollege


The completed SRTEs need to be returned to the Administrative Assistant, who will bring them to CFEI.

This information has already been sent to Department Heads and Administrative Assistants, so that they may plan accordingly for the SRTE administration.
