Instructional Technology Services at Texas A&M University is once again pleased to coordinate another System-wide two-day event for sharing the latest trends and topics in instructional technology. Plan to be an integral part of it by submitting a presentation proposal and sharing your knowledge with colleagues.
This year's theme is "Activating Student Learning," with special emphasis on active, multi-disciplinary learning and inclusive teaching approaches that encourage student motivation. Presentations will cover a wide range of teaching and learning topics in over 50 sessions. Plus, the schedule will feature two keynote presentations from leaders in higher education.
We encourage all Texas A&M University System schools and agencies to both present and attend. Be part of a collaborative teaching community that discusses innovative education methods and shares best practices.
Consider the following suggested topics for submitting a proposal:
* Enriching course experiences through technology-enhanced instruction
* Designing, delivering, and assessing face-to-face, online, or hybrid courses in innovative ways
* Addressing current topics, emerging trends, research findings, and new initiatives
* Implementing accessibility standards, universal design principles, and diversity appreciation to enable learning for all
* Designing transformative coursework that helps first- and second-year students develop into lifelong learners and collaborators
* Introducing professional development opportunities, novel ideas, and tips to instructors
* Sharing implementation success stories, overcoming challenges, and discussing lessons learned
