[VPAAEtal] Top 3 things you should know about your Classroom Technology

Greetings Faculty!

Most classrooms on the Commerce campus have an Epson BrightLink Interactive projector installed.  Below are the top  3 things you should know about your Classroom Technology to get you started:



1.      Power-Up:  Hand-held projector remote controls have been replaced by wall-mounted push button controls (see image below).  With 8 buttons, classrooms now have a standardized interface to power on the projector, switch video sources, and control the volume.



2.      Connect:  Extra video cables have been provided in the classrooms to facilitate presenting with a laptop.  Simply use the extra VGA or HDMI cable already connected to the audio-visual wall-plate and then select the appropriate input.  There's no need to hunt for cables plugged into the back of the computer in the instructor's lectern. 3.      Choose:  Switching video sources for the projector is a snap!  Using the wall-mounted control, select the input controls on the second row from the top.
