CONVOCATION
TUESDAY, March 29, 2016
11 A.M. - Ferguson Auditorium

Faculty, Staff and Students,

The Spring 2016 Academic Convocation is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, March 29, at 11:00 a.m. in the University Auditorium, Ferguson Social Sciences Building, to honor
Dr. Sri Nippani, Regents Professor and Professor of Finance. Dr. Nippani became the University's most recent recipient of the highest academic distinction bestowed upon faculty by The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents when named "Regents Professor" for academic year 2014-2015.

In order for students, faculty, and staff to attend the Convocation, all classes will be canceled and campus offices will be closed from 11 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, March 29.

Faculty will participate in full academic regalia and gather for the processional at approximately 10:45 a.m. in the first floor hallway of the Ferguson Social Sciences Building.  Those unable to attend are to consult the respective dean in advance. Please mark on your calendars this special event to honor both Dr. Nippani' career and the history of our university by joining in this celebration.
