The Meadows Principal Improvement Program in the Department of Educational Leadership is pleased to announce an upcoming workshop - Impacting Student Achievement by Integrating Transformational Emotional Intelligence.  Utilizing the Emotional Learning System (ELS), participants will engage the five-step process for instruction, experiential learning, and pathways to positive change.  This informative half-day session will be held September 29, 2015 from 9 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Texas A&M University-Commerce Mesquite Metroplex Center, 2600 Motley Drive, Mesquite, Texas 75150.  We are pleased to welcome facilitators, Dr. Gary Low and Dr. Rick Hammett from the Emotional Intelligence Training and Research Institute. Faculty with an interest in teaching and learning and behavioral change and intervention are encouraged to attend.
