[VPAAEtal] Full Sponsorship of 2 Full-Time Faculty to Attend Sloan-C/MERLOT Conference in Dallas

All Full-time Faculty,

 

The Faculty Center for Teaching with Technology (FCTT) will sponsor two
full-time faculty members to attend the upcoming Sloan-C/MERLOT
conference on Emerging Technologies for Online Learning to be held at
the Sheraton Dallas Hotel in Dallas, Texas April 9-11, 2014. The
sponsorship will include the conference registration, hotel
registration, and travel expenses.

If you would like to be considered for this sponsorship, email
Julie.McElhany at tamuc.edu a one paragraph essay on how you anticipate the
conference will benefit you as you teach online using emerging
technologies.  Drs. Julie McElhany and Rick Lumadue, local coordinators
of the event, will review the submissions and select two faculty members
to attend.   Please email your submissions by Monday noon, March 31st.

 

We do also ask that you be willing to host a faculty forum following
your return from the conference as a means of sharing with your
colleagues.
