[VPAAEtal] Faculty Technology Discovery Forums

The Faculty Center for Teaching with Technology is hosting Faculty
Technology Discovery Forums on April 15th and April 22nd  from
3:00pm-4:30pm in AGIT 222.  The topics were identified from the Faculty
Technology Discovery questionnaire that was distributed during the Fall
2013 semester and by the Academic Technology Advisory Committee in
conjunction with reviewing the initial findings from the questionnaire.
The two topics being discussed at both forums are:

 

1)      Online Academic Integrity-The first half of the session will
focus on the potential need and how beneficial an academic integrity
solution(s) would be to the University.

 

2)      Instructional Technology Tools used for Collaboration in Online
and Face-to-Face Learning Environments-Interactive whiteboards, student
response systems, web-conferencing, and digital storytelling software
are tools that can be used to increase collaboration among students and
their instructors.  The mentioned tools are just a few that instructors
use at A&M-Commerce.  The second half of the session is to discuss how
these tools are being used, ways that these tools can be used, and what
new tools to investigate.
