Dr. Petra Strassberg

This hands-on workshop will follow the items included on the
Accessibility Review Checklist. The attendees will be asked to log on to
their course and exam it as we move through the checklist.

Cascade CMS Training for Faculty Websites

David Moseley

Basic training in Cascade CMS for faculty websites. This content will
adhere to T&D guidelines for basic Cascade training, but will go more in
depth on managing faculty websites in Cascade, which differ from global
Cascade sites and are much more customizable.

Using Camtasia in the Classroom

Dr. Nathan Harness 

To teach faculty how to integrate Camtasia software into their
classroom.  This will take on the form of a teaching workshop of the
basics of Camtasia, a hands on walkthrough with the software, and a Q&A
session regarding best practices.

Quality Matters: The Standard for Online Delivery

Dr. Melinda Schlager

>From student learning objectives to course content, to syllabus
construction, to the platform upon which the course is delivered,
quality matters. This session will discuss efforts to standardize the
program platform for the MS in Applied Criminology to provide students
with continuity of service. This presentation will also discuss the
importance of rigorous course content in an online environment. Finally,
the current efforts at seeking Quality Matters designation for the
program will be discussed.

eCollege Tips & Tricks

Elva Resendez 

This collaborative session allows eCollege users to interact with
several areas of eCollege, addressing topics such as dynamics of using
GradeMark and PeerMark to best practices in monitoring and communicating
with eCollege users at all levels. Participants will log in to their
systems and will gain hands-on experience in small groups while
providing their own experiences to assist the group.

Course Design: Developing Student Learning Outcomes

How do your students know what you want them to learn?  What knowledge,
skills and abilities do you expect your students to have gained at the
end of your course?  In this hands-on workshop we will focus on the
process of developing student learning outcomes for your course.

Faculty Technology Discovery Forum 

Jeremy Gamez

This session is to bring faculty together to discuss two topics
identified from the Faculty Technology Discovery questionnaire that was
distributed during the Fall 2013 semester. The two topics are: 1) Online
Academic Integrity and 2) Instructional Technology Tools for
Collaboration in Online and Face-to-Face Learning Environments.
