If, due to travel funds, you have had to limit the number of
participants from your site attending this summer's distance learning
conference with the Northeast Texas Consortium's here's some good news!

 

Travel money for mileage and one night's hotel for up to fifty people
has been acquired by the Consortium for college and university
administrators and faculty. To receive the funding, all each participant
has to do is to attend a one-hour conference presentation on the Carl
Perkins funded project, The Network for Teaching Excellence to be held
during the conference on Friday, June 11th at 9:00am. The funding is
available to anyone that works for a higher education institution and
whose travel distance is more than 40 miles one-way.  

 

Once an applicant has registered for the conference (also free to
Consortium members) they should separately send an e-mail me with their
contact information using the subject heading "The Network's
Professional Development Repository-How We're Using It-June 11th"
