[VPAAEtal] Dean James Klein

[Academic Affairs]

University Community:

Dr. James Klein, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, has accepted
the Provost's position at Southern Oregon University effective August 4.
I know you will join me in thanking Jim for his service to the
university and to the Commerce community during these past three years.
Jim and his wife, Sarah, will be missed by our university family, but we
are happy that they have this exciting opportunity.

President McFarland, incoming President Jones, and I have been
discussing options for an interim dean and we hope to be able to share
the plan with you by the end of next week.

Mary W. Hendrix, Ph.D.
