Spring Semester 2008 

  

Grant Development    and    Grant Writing Workshops

 

Deborah Porter will be presenting three workshops on grant writing in
February and March.  Based on a Fall Survey of faculty, deans and department
heads, the workshop series will begin with a comprehensive overview of the
important elements of successful grantwriting (Grantwriting 101-February
28th).  Writing Goals and Objectives (March 13th) and Creating Budgets and
Justifications (March 27th) will provide more in-depth training on these two
important components of a grant proposal.  Participants in all three
workshops will leave with ideas for specific grants to support their
research or students' needs and techniques for ensuring grant success.

NOTE:  The three workshops are scheduled on Thursdays 2:00-4:00.  If you are
interested in attending but this schedule conflicts with a class commitment,
please send Dr. Porter an email.  We will schedule an additional workshop if
