CALL FOR NOMINATIONS - FACULTY AWARDS
This Friday (Feb 15th) is the deadline to submit your nominations. 
 
Nominations letters (or emails) should be sent to Serge von Duvillard. 
 
The Annual Faculty Award Luncheon will be held on April 15, 2008.  
At which time the following awards will be presented to recognize
outstanding faculty. 
The Faculty Senate Awards Committee is now accepting nominations for the
following faculty awards. 

William L. Mayo Professorship Award
Paul W. Barrus Distinguished Faculty Award for Teaching (2 awards)
H.M. Lafferty Distinguished Faculty Award for Scholarship and Creative
Activity (2 awards)
Neill Humfeld Distinguished Faculty Award for Service
National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) Awards
(awarded in the Fall of 2008)
Professional Achievement Awards
 
With the exception of the NISOD award, all awards will be presented during
the April 15, 2008 Faculty Awards Banquet.
 
The Faculty Awards Committee encourages you to nominate one or more of your
colleagues to be chosen for any of the above listed awards for the year
2008.  When a faculty member is nominated, the Faculty Awards Committee will
solicit the necessary materials, including relevant information to be placed
on a nomination form, plus letters of reference. 
 
Please send the name of your nominee and a brief letter outlining your
rationale to:
