The Meadows Principal Improvement Program has a few seats left for the next
conference in the 2007-2008 series. Todd Whitaker will present the session
"What Great Principals Do Differently" Monday, December 3, at the Mesquite
Metroplex Center. Blending school-centered studies and experience working
with hundreds of administrators, Dr. Whitaker will focus on 15 things that
the most successful principals do that other principals do not. Participants
will leave knowing what great principals do differently, why these things
make them more effective, and how to immediately implement each of these
practices into their schools.
Dr. Todd Whitaker's work has been published in the areas of teacher
leadership, instructional improvement, change, leadership effectiveness,
technology, and middle level practices. His books include Dealing with
Difficult Teachers, Motivating & Inspiring Teachers, Dealing with Difficult
Parents, What Great Principals Do Differently, and the best seller, What
Great Teachers Do Differently. Dr. Whitaker is internationally recognized as
