[Vpaaetal] Dean of College of Education and Human Services and Dean of Gradu ate Studies and Research

		Dr. Joyce Scott is please to announce the following:

		Dr. Frank B. Ashley, III of Texas A&M University at College
Station, has accepted our offer to come to Commerce as Dean of the College
of Education and Human Services.  Dr. Ashley and his family will relocate
from College Station to Commerce this summer, and Dr. Ashley will assume his
duties on August 2, 2004.

		Dr. Allan Headley of Texas Tech University has accepted our
offer to come to Commerce as Dean of Graduate Studies and Research.  Dr.
Headley and his family will relocate this summer, and Dr. Headley will
assume his duties on September 1.

		We would like to congratulate both search committees and
their chairpersons!  The Dean of College of Education and Human Services
Search Committee was chaired by Dr. Martha Foote.   The Dean of Graduate
Studies and Research Search Committee was headed by Dr. Ed Seifert.

		We look forward to welcoming both Dr. Ashley and Dr. Headley
to the Commerce campus.
