The Graduate Programs Coordinator assists in all aspects of departmental operations for the Master of Jurisprudence and Master of Laws programs. The position coordinates a variety of programs in support of student success and retention, program development and enrollment goals, and makes key administrative decisions within area(s) of responsibility while managing department resources. Required Education and Experience:
*         Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
*         Four years of full-time experience in program development or management

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
*         Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
*         Knowledge of student success models or the willingness to be trained
*         Energetic, detail oriented, self-starter capable of managing assignments with minimal supervision
*         Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*         Strong verbal and written communication skills as frequent presentations and formal reports are required
*         Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others

Other Requirements or Factors:
*         This position is located in Fort Worth, TX.

Preferred Education and Experience:
*         Juris Doctor degree or Master's degree in higher education administration, enrollment management, organization management, or a related field
*         Three or more years of direct experience in a law school, graduate school, or professional school

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
*         High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite software (latest version)
*         General experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) and Customer Relations Management software (CRM)
*         Strong relationship and coaching skills

Responsibilities:
*         Assists students enrolled in graduate programs accomplish their goals through graduation. Counsels prospective and current students regarding enrollment processes and pre-and-post matriculation matters necessary for student success. Responds to students' needs and assist students with challenges that arise effecting their educational plan.
*         Develops student retention targets, and identifies gaps based on available data. Identifies student barriers to success and helps students solve them. Implements a comprehensive (phone, email, text, etc...) communication strategy to improve student engagement and experience. Conducts student satisfaction surveys and use data generated to improve student success. Works across a range of departments to assist students with enrollment and/or course problems.
*         Collaborates with the Assistant Dean of Graduate Programs to create new and expanded programs. Assists in establishing short and long-term goals and strategic planning for the new graduate degree programs. Collaborates with key stakeholders to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing campaign and recruitment strategy for online and in-residence graduate-level degree programs.
*         Assists with managing and maintaining website and social media platforms. Serves as liaison to the International Student Services department and is responsible for assisting students through the international admissions process from application to enrolled status. Coordinates outreach activities and administers post-event surveys to measure level of effectiveness. Assists in identifying funding opportunities.
*         Serves on committees, work groups, and task forces as assigned. Actively engages in the activities of relevant professional organizations. Engages in continued education to improve skill set and stay abreast of industry standards. Participates in and makes recommendations for formulating and implementing policies and procedures within areas of responsibility.
*         Ensures programs comply with federal, state, accrediting agency, and university laws, standards, policies, and procedures. Develops and cultivates meaningful relationships with educational institutions, corporate partners, and other constituents to promote the School of Law and increase program enrollment.
*         Assists department head in developing and implementing student success plan and establishing performance goals and measures to evaluate success. Assists in formulating and implementing policies and procedures within area(s) of responsibility. Manipulates, analyzes, and interprets current, historical, and comparative data to produce reports, inform decisions, and guide actions. Administers post-event surveys to measure level of effectiveness. Prepares budget proposals for activities and events within area(s) of responsibility. Provides verbal and/or written activity updates during staff meetings. Performs data entry. Ensures compliance with federal, state, institutional, and accrediting agency policies and procedures.
*         Develops and oversees program tracking and assessment activities, providing essential periodic reports to enable senior leadership to make and implement program and other decisions affecting graduate students. Performs other duties as assigned.
