[TACRAO] Listserv Question about Changing Majors

After the census date for each term we process major changes to be effective for the following semester.  This is to make sure that our CB reports are accurate.

Do you have a deadline for when you allow students to change their major the current term?

Example, it's the fall term, and someone wants to change from Business to Agriculture. Do you let them do this at ANY time in the fall term? Or do you cut it off and change it for upcoming term instead?

If you do have a cut off date, why? What is the reasoning behind it? Financial aid? Suspension reports, VA, other, etc.
