Job Title:      Bilingual Counselor/ Full Time

 

Position Description:

Provide individual and group counseling to adult victims of relationship
violence and sexual assault in both a shelter and outreach setting;
participate in educational functions of the agency. Provide case
management, advocacy, crisis intervention and information/referrals to
Hispanic and/or Spanish speaking victims of relationship violence and
sexual assault through face-to-face and/or telephone contact at the
Agency and in the community at large; assess initial needs and provide
assistance to acquire those needs

 

Qualifications:

Minimum of a Master's Degree in counseling or related field; licensure
eligible; demonstrate knowledge and understanding of relationship
violence and sexual assault dynamics; bilingual (Spanish) required.
