Program Director for Legacy Founders Cottage

This position oversees operations of housing facility for terminally and
critically  ill AIDS patients. Primary responsibilities include, but are not
limited to: managing a staff of 7-9 nurse aides; coordinating intake of
clients with Doctors, families, and other relevant parties; overseeing the
care of 7 patients; setting meetings and coordinating staff and volunteers
for events; managing supplies and other house needs; communicating with
donors; working on databases to maintain accurate data; staffing the
administrative needs of the home; public speaking, marketing, and other
duties as assigned. 

Qualifications: 

Bachelors degree in social service or medical field required. A minimum of
two years work experience is required with at least one year management
preferred. Experience in development fundraising or nonprofit events is a
plus. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, spelling,
grammar. Experience working with volunteers is a plus. Must demonstrate
strong organizational skills, excellent judgment, be empathetic, work
independently, be attentive to detail, and have the ability to make good
decisions in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must also possess the
ability to adapt quickly and effectively to needs. Must be able to work
occasional evenings and weekends. 



Salary begins at $36,000 + can be increased through a variety of activities

.
