Greetings Student Organizations Leaders! 

I hope you all are having a great non snow week!! I wanted to send out a
few pieces of information to you all as refreshers about policies and
guidelines for student organization. 

1.	As your organization prepares to have meetings within the SRSC,
please be sure that your group does not bring any outside food into the
building for your organizational events. For a refresher, here is a link
to their catering guide:

you the individuals to contact to set up catering for your event AND
special pricing for student organizations! If you are considering food
for you any of your events, please double and triple check with Sodexo
to make sure you are not in violation of this policy. Remember, if you
aren't sure it does not hurt to ask! J
2.	Also remember to review the new reservation policies given by
the SRSC Scheduling Office. They can be found here
https://orgsync.com/24085/files/index/91179 through ManeSync. If you
have questions about booking an event feel free to call 903-886-5809 to
speak to a representative. 
3.	   SOAC (Student Organization Allocation Committee) Funding is
available for organizations to apply for. This application can be found
on OrgSync (under your organization's Forms tab) as well as hard copies
can be found in the Student Activities & Leadership office on the 2nd
floor do the SRSC. Please note the two different types of allocations
available to your organization: 

a.       Funds are available for student organizations for the benefit
of the individual organization for the purpose of recruitment,
publicity, etc. Funds requested for this purpose may not exceed $200.00
per student organization. 

b.       Funds allocated are restricted to campus or community
activities that stand to benefit, entertain, develop, or educate the
student body. Funds requested for this purpose may not exceed $1,500.00
per request of student organization.
