Hello, Student Organizations!   Welcome back to the 2010-2011 Academic
Year.  It is going to be an exciting Fall Semester! Let us introduce
ourselves first.  We are the individuals who will be overseeing student
organizations from here on out: Laurel Flores, Graduate Assistant for
Student Organizations, and Deepti Vanguri, Assistant Director of Student
Activities and Special Events. We are looking forward to working with
each and every one of you this year. We appreciate your patience in this
registration process, but wanted to inform you all about upcoming
deadlines and meetings. 

 

On an important note, you must re-register your organization no later
than Thursday, OCTOBER 7, 2010.

 

There will be a mandatory Policies and Procedures meeting for all
organizations to attend. At least two officers need to be present for
the meeting. The meeting dates are as follows (choose one of the
remaining ones):

 

                Thursday, September 23rd- 11:30AM to 1:00PM (Pride Room,
2nd floor SRSC)

 

                Friday, September 24th- 2:00PM to 3:30PM (Pride Room,
2nd floor SRSC)

 

                Monday, September 27th- 10:00AM to 11:30AM (Pride Room,
2nd floor SRSC)

 

                Tuesday, September 28th- 2:30PM to 4:00PM  (Pride Room,
2nd floor SRSC)

 

                Wednesday, September 29th- 5:00PM-6:30PM (Innovations A,
2nd floor SRSC)

 

These meetings are extremely important to keep your organization up to
date with any policies and procedures that are changing with the
university and to help your organization stay informed and active with
Texas A&M University-Commerce. 

 

*Information about changes with catering, room requests, marketing and
the new OrgSync will be discussed in the meeting, so come prepared with
questions. We look forward to seeing everyone at one of these meetings.
