[Stuorg-adv] Student Organization t-shirts

Good morning!
I wanted to clear up some confusion about purchasing t-shirts for your student organization. If your organization is purchasing t-shirts and NOT USING any likeness of the university (i.e. university logo, name of university, TAMUC, etc.) you can order a t-shirt from any vendor of your choosing. If your organization is looking to purchase t-shirts with the university logo or any university likeness (such as the TAMUC name, etc.) you will need to purchase the t-shirts through an approved licensed vendor. You also will need to get approval from the university's Marketing and Communications Department for the t-shirt design. You can e-mail marcomm at tamuc.edu<mailto:marcomm at tamuc.edu> or Jessica.Norris at tamuc.edu<mailto:Jessica.Norris at tamuc.edu> with t-shirt designs to get approval or if you have any questions on using university logos or likeness. If using university logos or likeness

1.       Contact Marcomm at tamuc.edu<mailto:Marcomm at tamuc.edu> and Jessica.Norris at tamuc.edu<mailto:Jessica.Norris at tamuc.edu> for logo/university name use approval.

2.       Use an approved licensed vendor.

If not using university logos or likeness

1.       You can use any vendor of your choosing.

2.       You can only use the organization name (i.e. Underwater Basketweaving Club, NOT Underwater Basketweaving Club at TAMUC)

3.       You do not need Marketing and Communications approval
