Hey Lions!

I wanted to take a moment to reach out to you during what might be a challenging time in your life. As the Dean of Students at A&M-Commerce, it's my responsibility to ensure the well-being of all our students, and I want you to know that you're not alone on this journey.

I understand that life can sometimes become overwhelming, and feelings of hopelessness or despair may cloud your thoughts. If you are experiencing such emotions, I want you to know that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. It's crucial to remember that there are people who care about you and are willing to offer support.

At East Texas A&M University, we have a range of resources available to help you navigate through difficult times. Our counseling services are staffed by caring professionals who are here to listen without judgment and provide guidance to help you cope with your emotions.

24/7 crisis assessment is available at the Counseling Center by calling 903-886-5145 or from the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 9-8-8.

East Texas A&M University has also partnered with the TELUS<https://www.tamuc.edu/telus/> Health Student Support Program to provide student with additional mental health assistance and pear-to-pear resources.
