[Students] Authentication slowness or failure to load Duo - 8.21.23

System-wide issue Multi-Factor Authentication

What is Happening?

  *   Users trying to authenticate with DUO Security are currently receiving the following error message:
     *   "System under heavy load. Please wait a few minutes and try again."


  *   TAMUC and TAMU System admins are aware of the issue and are investigating with Cisco-DUO Security.


  *   The issue is inconsistent as some user have reported that they are able to login successfully. According to DUO, there is no estimated time of restoration at this moment. Updates will provided as they become available.

  *   Banner
  *   D2L
  *   Etc.
  *   System SSO Applications
     *   ManeMarket
     *   Canopy
     *   Workday
     *   Etc.
