[A&M-Commerce Students]

It is with deep sadness that the Lion Family announces the death of one of our own, 19-year-old Javion Thomas, an electrical engineering major from Dallas, Texas. Javion died on November 10, 2020, from injuries that occurred while helping someone in need. The university flag will be flown at half-staff on November 12, 2020 in his memory.

The family has established a Go Fund Me account<https://gf.me/u/y8at5j> to help with interment, or donations can be made at any Prosperity Bank.

The University Counseling Center is making counseling services available to students.
