Monthly Scheduled Maintenance Alert

What is happening?
A maintenance outage is scheduled.
What is happening on Saturday evening?
Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 a.m. Central Time
The following applications services will be impacted by a planned network outage:
Classroom and Lab Technology

*         Lab Technologies that require Network Licenses

*         Pharos printing

*         Remote Access to Library Databases

*         Virtual Desktop Environments
Enterprise Applications

*         Banner

*         Banner SSB/INB

*         Cascade

*         DegreeWorks




*         Email System

*         EMS - Event Management System

*         Lioncard

*         MyLEO Portal

*         StarRez

*         TouchNet




File Sharing Services
Internet Access will be down from 6:30pm - 7:00pm
Network Access within A&M-Commerce - The following buildings will be affected:

*         All Commerce campus building including ResLife will experience outages up to 15 minutes between 6:00pm -8:00pm

*         Field House and Performing Arts Center from 8:30pm - 9:15pm

*         Science Building from 10:00pm - 10:15pm
Remote Desktop Services - E2
Telephone - Local & Long Distance Access - will be down for approximately 5 - 10 minutes between 8:00pm - 8:30pm

Why is it Happening?
To install critical security updates and conduct required maintenance.
What you need to do:
If you experience other technical problems, please contact the CITE Support Center at 903-468-6000 or Helpdesk at tamuc.edu<mailto:Helpdesk at tamuc.edu>.

You may log into eCollege before the maintenance window begins as eCollege will not be impacted. myLEO will be impacted for about 30 minutes during our maintenance window. Until myLEO has been serviced you will receive a message myLEO is being serviced. You may try at a later time to log into eCollege when myLEO has been serviced.
