[Students] Coach Carthel's Challenge

Our football team is off to a great year with a 5-1 overall record and a 4-0 LSC record, the only unbeaten team left in the Lone Star Conference.  Saturday's football game against West Texas is one of the biggest games A&M-Commerce has played in the last 20 years.  We are going to need everyone's help and support to remain unbeaten!  With a win Saturday, the Lions will clinch at least a share of the regular season conference championship; the 1st time since 1995!  As with the past home games this year, Coach Carthel has issued a challenge to ALL student-groups to be the loudest and rowdiest in the stands.  The winner will be chosen by a select group of individuals at the conclusion of the game.  The winning group will receive $100.00 cash from Coach Carthel immediately following the game!  We are asking all students and student groups to come out and support the Lions as we continue on a great football season!
