Now that midterms are done (maybe) I am sure all of you are doing great this fall.
It's time for a friendly reminder for all students (undergraduate and graduate) who are financial aid and scholarship applicants/recipients.

In general, federal and state financial aid recipients need to maintain a minimum GPA for the semester;
Certain financial aid and scholarship programs have specific GPA and completion requirements which exceed the minimums.

Undergraduate students:
                Freshmen need to maintain a 1.80 GPA for the semester and A&M-Commerce cumulative GPA
                Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors need to maintain a 2.0 GPA for the semester and A&M-Commerce cumulative GPA
Graduate students:
                Students need to maintain a 3.0 GPA for the semester and A&M-Commerce cumulative GPA

All students need to complete a minimum number of credit hours each semester. The number of credit hours that need to be completed is determined by the number of hours the student is attempting for the semester.

Students can find specific information in several areas;
On the Financial Aid & Scholarships web site (GPA MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR GENERAL FINANCIAL AID TO INCLUDE FEDERAL PELL GRANT, FEDERAL STUDENT LOANS, FEDERAL WORK-STUDY, STATE WORK-STUDY)
http://www.tamuc.edu/admissions/tuitionCosts/financialAidandScholarships/satisfactory-academic-progress/default.aspx
On the Financial Aid & Scholarships web site (COMPLETION RATE REQUIREMENTS FOR GENERAL FINANCIAL AID)
http://www.tamuc.edu/admissions/tuitionCosts/financialAidandScholarships/satisfactory-academic-progress/completion-rate-calculator.aspx
On the student's Financial Aid Section myLEO under Terms and Conditions; specific programs will have specific requirements.

Freshmen, Transfer, and PTK Student Access & Success Scholarship recipients: http://www.tamuc.edu/admissions/tuitionCosts/financialAidandScholarships/scholarships/TexasAMUniversityCommerceScholarships/default.aspx

Best wishes as you continue this fall semester and are ready to register for the upcoming spring semester.
