Dear Students,

General, Departmental, and Endowment Scholarships

Applying for general, departmental, and endowment scholarship
opportunities starts by completing our General Scholarship Application.
The deadline to apply for most university scholarships for the upcoming
academic year will be March 15. As new scholarship opportunities are
added daily, please check regularly for any new scholarship
opportunities that may become available. You may also log in to view
updates regarding your application status for various scholarship
opportunities during the application review process.

For information on how to access the General Scholarship Application,
please visit the General Scholarship Page

alscholarships/scholarshipSearch.aspx> on our website found here that
separates the scholarships by major, and by some categories such as
'general' and 'undergraduate'.

Outside Scholarships

There is a growing list of outside scholarship opportunities on the
Outside Scholarship List
<http://www.tamuc.edu/admissions/tuitionCosts/financialAidandScholarship
s/scholarships/outsideScholarships/outsideScholarshipsList.aspx> .
Remember to keep checking the list, as scholarships are added all the
time.

There are several with deadlines in February and March. Remember to
always prepare early enough to meet the deadlines!

These deadlines are now also posted on the University Calendar
<http://ems.tamuc.edu/MasterCalendar/default.aspx> as part of the
Financial Aid & Scholarships Calendar.

Also you can use the websites listed on the Outside Scholarship

because many scholarships are added in between these updates.

Ask a scholarship to "Be Yours" for Valentine's Day! However, note that
flowers and chocolates probably will not aid your scholarship
